Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon

While most of post-war manufacturers specialize in one device format or level of range, Zeiss Ikon wants to be present in all segments of the market.

Zeiss Ikon Twin Lens Reflexes (TLRs) were produced from 1934 to 1960 under the name Ikoflex.

The model presented here is the Ikoflex IIa, equipped with the Zeiss Opton Tessar 3.5: 75 mm which made the heydays of the Rolleiflex, in a Synchro Compur B, 1 - 1/500.

The speed and aperture adjustments are using two knobs, with remind of the selected values in a window at the top of the plate, represents a significant improvement over previous versions.
